The Tevatron legacy: a luminosity story

To a large extent, this was due to the hundred-fold increase in the delivered luminosity. The LHC has gathered so far approximately 1% of its expected luminosity, a similar situation to where the Tevatron was back in 1995 at the time of the top-quark discovery. Based on that experience, many more exciting results from the LHC experiments are yet to come.
