Every day at CERN, we all face a variety of risks, from potential trips and falls to activity-specific hazards. Safety starts with you. On 4 June, join the HSE Department and collaborating teams at Restaurant 1 and in the Main Building for an interactive CERN Safety Day. Discover hands-on demonstrations on many topics, spanning electrical safety, noise risks, fire prevention, lasers, waste management, biodiversity, life-saving actions, road safety and much more.
You will also have the opportunity to explore CERN’s nine Safety Fundamentals, which address the most significant risks we face and serve as a clear, practical guide for everyone at CERN.
Why attend?
- Meet safety experts and ask your burning safety questions.
- See real-world examples of hazards and how to mitigate them.
- Reinforce your role in CERN’s safety culture.
Safety is a shared responsibility. Be mindful, assess risks, follow training, use personal protective equipment (PPE) and know the rules. Together, we can make CERN a safer place for everyone.
Safety first. Safety always.
