A revised version of Administrative Circular No. 11 (Rev. 9), entitled “Categories of members of the personnel“, has been approved by the Director-General and is available at the following link.

This circular has been updated to clarify the legal links between associated members of the personnel (MPAs) and their home institutions. It also provides further clarification on the social protection requirements applicable to MPAs.

In addition, the revision introduces a change concerning trainees, who will now benefit from the Organization’s insurance coverage for occupational accidents and occupational illnesses.

The revised circular enteredinto force on 1 July 2026. It cancels and replaces Administrative Circular No. 11 (Rev. 8), dated October 2022.
