After the success of the first two rounds, Women in Technology is organising the third year of WIT Mentoring. Mentoring is a great opportunity to develop a relationship with a senior colleague who has extensive experience at CERN and a good knowledge of the Organization. Mentees can benefit from a confidential space where guidance can be offered and issues can be discussed.

The programme is open to everyone with the clear motivation to work on their personal and professional development. This year, for the first time, WIT is collaborating with the CERN Alumni team to explore the possibility of working with alumni mentors.

The exercise will run from May until December 2020.

“It is much more than women supporting women, it is about creating bonds and supporting each other as members of a community.” (Mentor)

“Amazing opportunity to grow, develop your full potential and acquire control over the direction of your career.” (Mentee)

“This was the opportunity for me to meet outstanding people who I learned a lot from, about team work, motivation, work-life balance and more.” (Mentor)
