Rescue exercise around the Globe

On Tuesday, 12 November, there will be an unusual buzz of activity in the area around the Globe of Science and Innovation. The canton of Geneva and CERN are organising a large-scale emergency exercise, involving the Swiss army, the Geneva Fire and Rescue Service (SIS), the French Fire Department and CERN’s Fire and Rescue Service. Between 80 and 100 people will take part in the training.

So don’t be surprised if you see many (mock) victims and the rescue services between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Globe will therefore be closed to visitors throughout the morning of Tuesday, 12 November.
