Enrica Porcari (Italy) took up the role of CERN Chief Information Officer in January 2026. She holds master’s degrees from the University of Rome and the University of Milan.  

She spent 15 years at CGIAR, where she held several positions including Director of Shared Services, Acting Director of Communications and Chief Information Officer.  

From 2016 to 2021, she served as Chief Information Officer and Director of the Technology Division at the World Food Programme (WFP). In July 2021, she joined CERN as Head of the Information Technology Department.
