Electricity powers our world, but what’s your level of confidence with it? Are you switched on to electrical safety best practices, or could your knowledge use a spark to ensure you and others stay safe?

We all interact with electricity every day, but we may not be fully aware of the risks it poses. Whether your role involves something as simple as using a Swiss adaptor for your laptop or as advanced as working hands-on with CERN’s intricate electrical installations, the electrical risks involved could have serious consequences. Reflecting on these risks and learning how to manage them effectively is time well spent.

Join us in Restaurant No. 1 by the Grab & Go on 4 February from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for live advice, demonstrations and practical information from CERN’s electrical safety experts. Whether you’re curious about the risks of travel adaptors and extension leads or need guidance on selecting your next arc-flash visor or personal protective equipment (PPE), this is your opportunity to learn, ask questions and enhance your workplace safety.

Keep yourself and your equipment safe at home, at work or wherever you’re next plugging in by taking a few minutes to join us and benefit from the advice of the CERN experts.

Awareness powers safety, and education is the best conductor.
