Expanded access to online journals and books during stage 3

|

The Library team is now working in "remote support mode” and is continuing to provide services to the CERN Community during CERN’s closure due to the COVID-19 epidemic. More than ever, our users rely on the Library’s online collections, which remain available on CDS or via any search engine.

In addition, since the start of the epidemic, more and more publishers have decided to open some of their resources to academics and students to support their work during these difficult times. Thanks to those initiatives, at CERN, access to online resources has been expanded beyond the current subscribed collections. Many publishers are participating in this effort: Cambridge University Press, Elsevier, Annual Reviews, OUP, JSTOR and World Scientific, for example. And more publishers might follow.

A list of useful resources for electronic books and journals available to the CERN Community has been compiled on this page. Some of these resources will be available for a limited time period. Please check the limitations on the resource list. Of course, all these resources are accessible from outside CERN, thanks to the EzProxy service.

If you need a book or an article that you cannot find, do not hesitate to contact us at library.desk@cern.ch or on our Mattermost channel.
