As part of its annual summer work programme, CERN will offer a limited number of short-term summer jobs to children of members of the personnel (i.e. anyone holding an employment or association contract with the Organization).
These positions involve routine, entry-level tasks or support work, providing an opportunity for young adults to gain professional experience in an international environment.
Period: between 15 June and 4 September 2026
Contract duration: 4 consecutive weeks
Allowance: 1 593 CHF for the full period
To be eligible, candidates must:
- be between 18 and 24 years old (inclusive) on the first day of the contract;
- already hold a residence permit issued by one of CERN’s host states (France or Switzerland) at the time of application, valid for the entire duration of the placement (proof required);
- have health insurance coverage in place.
To allow as many people as possible to benefit from the programme, each child may participate only once.
