The Diversity Programme has organised a CERN-GOOGLE Networking event to celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day.
The event will be held on the Friday 7 March 2014 from 11.30am to 3.30pm.
The day will run as follow:
- Part 1: Interactive round-table discussions on “Women in Science, Technology and Engineering”
- Part 2: Networking lunch taking place in Restaurant 2 : participants will pay for their lunch but reserved places will be available in the restaurant
- Part 3: Expert talks on Computing for Physics (by Maria Alandes Pradillo, CERN, IT) & the Challenges of Google Scale (by Katie Bell, Google, Software Engineer) : an opportunity for Googlers and IT CERN people to exchange
