CineGlobe 2025 — Immersive evening & round table: “Science: the invisible interweaving of immersive art?”

With the participation of Virtual Switzerland – In the presence of the artists

A unique evening to discover a curated selection of immersive artworks that blend artistic creation, technological innovation, and contemporary reflection.

Visitors are invited to freely explore the works through a guided mediation route from 18.30 until 21.30, accompanied by artists and mediators, within installations using Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Augmented Reality (AR).

Round table : “Science: the invisible interweaving of immersive art?” (20.00 – 21.30)

A public discussion moderated by Virtual Switzerland, bringing together artists, researchers, and thinkers in the immersive field.

They will examine how scientific inquiry and artistic narration intersect within XR storytelling and digital aesthetics.

Artistic program: Guided discovery of the immersive works (18.30 – 21.30)

Virtual Reality (VR) – 5 experiences

Dive into poetic, interactive, and sensory journeys:
• Énergía (Ugo Arsac) – Swiss Premiere: a 3D documentary inside abandoned nuclear power plants
• ELELE – a musical and gestural exploration featuring Max Cooper
• Trails of Angels – a dreamlike journey through the paintings of Čiurlionis
• Duchampiana – a feminist reinterpretation of Duchamp’s modern legacy
• Address Unknown – a post-Fukushima immersive experience

Mixed Reality (MR) – 2 experiences

Symbolic and visionary landscapes bridging the virtual and physical:
 • 3rd Eye – Find Your Fate – World Premiere: interactive oracles in a futuristic digital space
 • Trinity Tarot Garden – a monumental XR garden of 28 Tarot archetypes

Hybrid Installation (VR + Installation) – 1 work

• Patikulamanasikara – a contemplative post-human meditation on the body and impermanence

Augmented reality (AR) – 1 experience

• The Fabulous Brain House – an interactive narrative on stress and brain function, accessible for all audiences

Prior to the event, the Big Bang café will stay open until 20.00. Enjoy a light meal with sandwiches and drinks for a great start to the evening.

Table ronde : "La science: l'entrelacs invisible de l'art immersif ?" (20:00 – 21:30)

Un échange public modéré par Virtual Switzerland, en présence d’artistes, de chercheurs et de penseurs du champ immersif. Ensemble, ils questionneront les liens sensibles entre recherche scientifique et narration artistique dans les formats XR.

Entre poésie visuelle, récits interactifs et documentaires sensoriels :
• Énergía (Ugo Arsac) – Première suisse : documentaire 3D dans des centrales nucléaires désaffectées
• ELELE – exploration gestuelle et musicale signée Max Cooper
• Trails of Angels – voyage visuel à travers les œuvres de Čiurlionis
• Duchampiana – relecture féminine de l’héritage de Duchamp
• Address Unknown – immersion post-catastrophe à Fukushima

Réalité mixte (MR) – 2 expériences

Entre réel et virtuel, un monde symbolique à explorer activement :
• 3rd Eye – Find Your Fate – Première mondiale : oracles numériques et métaphores futuristes
• Trinity Tarot Garden – immersion monumentale dans l’univers du Tarot

Installation hybride (VR + Installation) – 1 oeuvre

• Patikulamanasikara – méditation post-humaniste autour du corps et de l’impermanence

Réalité augmentée (AR) – 1 expérience

• La Fabuleuse Maison Cerveau – aventure interactive autour du stress et du cerveau, accessible à tous les publics
