A Composite Theory of Higgs and Flavour

Where:

4/2-037 at CERN

I discuss a framework for generating realistic Yukawa hierarchies, alongside efficient protection of sensitive flavour observables, in a composite Higgs model that is viable close to the TeV. The key ingredient is to embed a flavour-deconstructed electroweak symmetry inside an enlarged strong sector. I will sketch the phenomenology of the model, which features a Z' boson and second Higgs doublet in addition to the SM degrees of freedom.
