The 2025/2026 CERN greeting card, with the theme “Beyond the horizon”, is based on a real photograph of Geneva, including the lights of the CERN Laboratory. It was taken from the top of the Reculet (1717 m), the second-highest peak in the Jura mountains, on 1 April 2025 between 3.45 and 4.35 a.m. by photographer Aude Nowak. The coordinates 46.233497, 6.055260 represent CERN’s address: Esplanade des Particules 1, 1217 Geneva.
