“Particle Colliders – Accelerating Innovation” symposium – Liverpool, 22 March

CERN, in collaboration with the University of Liverpool, is organising a symposium entitled “Particle Colliders – Accelerating Innovation”, in the framework of the Future Circular Collider study and with the support of the EuroCirCol and EASITrain H2020 projects. The event will take place at the Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre on 22 March 2019.

The symposium serves a double purpose: on the one hand, it will include a public display of the FCC, bringing over 500 high-school students to participate in a series of inspiring talks and hands-on activities. On the other hand, it will present the technological challenges of the FCC to industry and interested academics, with a dedicated workshop for relevant companies to explore the opportunities for co-innovation in a variety of industrial sectors.

The event is open for registration and is free of charge. To register and for more information visit: https://indico.cern.ch/event/747618/
