The following revised administrative circulars have been approved by the Director-General and will enter into force on 1 September 2024:
- Administrative Circular No. 12A (Rev.5) “Education fees”
- Administrative Circular No. 12B (Rev.6) “Education and language course fees”
These revisions cancel and replace Administrative Circular No. 12A (Rev.4) and Administrative Circular No. 12B (Rev.5), both dated July 2023.
The modifications pertain to two paragraphs:
- §51 of Administrative Circular No. 12A
- §49 of Administrative Circular No. 12B
Previously, both paragraphs stipulated that remuneration received in the framework of an apprenticeship, work experience or vocational training would be deducted from the benefits paid under the circulars.
This stipulation has been removed from the revised versions, meaning that remuneration received from internships undertaken by a dependent child will no longer be deducted from the education fees paid by CERN.
