The 8th Thematic CERN School of Computing (tCSC spring 2021) will take place on June 14-18 in an online format.

The programme will focus on the theme of Scientific Software for Heterogeneous Architectures, covering areas such as computer architectures, parallel and optimised software, and heterogeneous programming (CPU, GPU, HPC etc.).

The School is aimed at postgraduate students, engineers and scientists with a few years' experience in particle physics, in computing, or in related fields. In order to allow us to offer the usual rich, personalised, interactive learning experience, the number of participants is limited to 40. Attendance is free of charge; however, the selected applicants will be required to participate actively in all School activities.

Applications are open until Friday 30 April.
