23-24 January 2024 | Overleaf Workshops: Beginners to Advanced

home.cern,Miscellaneous

CERN and Overleaf, in the framework of the H2020 FCCIS project, will offer a series of Overleaf training sessions on 23 and 24 January 2024 combined with hands-on experience at CERN's training centre. The courses are tailored to every skill level — from beginner to TeXpert! You can pick the journey that best suits you.

A Beginner Workshop will introduce you to Overleaf and LaTeX and show you the fundamentals of document preparation.

For those already familiar with LaTeX, the Intermediate Workshop will jump right into Overleaf features and how you can use our tools to speed up your workflows.

Already completed a project on Overleaf or using LaTeX locally? Then the Advanced Workshop is for you! Here we will show you the Overleaf features that you may be missing out on as well as discuss best practices and more complex typesetting.

Finally, an Extended Overview will walk you through all of the advanced topics, remaining accessible to any level.

Pairing the Beginner/Intermediate Workshops with the Extended Overview is the perfect way to see all the content without being overwhelmed. We hope you can join us and can’t wait to show you what Overleaf can do!

Participation at these trainings is free of charge, but registration is compulsory. The registration deadline is Monday 15 January 2024. For more information and registration: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1354754/.
