2023 was another year of achievement for CERN with the excellent performance of its scientific facilities, beautiful physics results and the opening of the new centre for scientific education and outreach, the Science Gateway.

In 2024, CERN will celebrate its 70th anniversary and a rich past while advancing a vision to use its unique accelerator complex to drive 70 more years of exploration in fundamental science. The year ahead will see celebratory events and activities that connect CERN’s heritage with its exciting future.
