- Make sure you drink lots of water
- Keep windows and shutters closed during the day where possible to keep the heat out
- Wear loose-fitting, light-coloured clothing
- Eat appropriately – fresh fruit, salads and vegetables are good choices
- Avoid strenous exercise in the heat of the day
NB: for spaces with air conditioning, its use is permitted under COVID level 1 – green. Please bear in mind not to set the A/C at a low setpoint, as this can be detrimental for your health. According to the Swiss guidelines, the maximum temperature difference between indoor and ambient conditions should be below 8 C°. Therefore, be mindful to set the temperature of your A/C unit accordingly.
