Abstract: Live demo of InvenioILS, an open-source integrated library system, with the CERN Library Catalogue

Join us for a live demo of InvenioILS and discover the features of this open-source integrated library system! We will cover management of collections, circulation, acquisitions & interlibrary loans, cataloguing and importations of records, user interface/public catalogue, and more. Our two experts, a librarian and a software developer, will answer all of your questions. Whether you are looking for a new library software or just interested in seeing the possibilities offered by the system, this Library Science Talk is for you!

Speakers: Karolina Przerwa and Lydia Pieper

Lydia Pieper is the Library Resources Coordinator at the CERN Library, where she is in charge of  acquisitions, interlibrary loans, user requests, and the bookshop. With four years of experience at CERN, she initially worked in the archives before transitioning to her current role. She holds a degree in Information Science from the Haute École de Gestion (HEG) in Geneva.

The Zentralbibliothek Zurich, the CERN Scientific Information Service, and AILIS (Association of International Librarians and Information Specialists, Geneva) jointly organize the Library Science Talks. A programme of talks for 2024 can be found on the AILIS website.
