Have you ever wanted to know what happens when high-school students visit CERN? Are you wondering whether to organise a visit for your school? Want to see a control room in action, or design your own physics experiment? 

At 17, Heather Wark was able to take part in an intensive physics summer camp at the University of Liverpool. Inspired, she is now a PhD student for the LHCb group, based at that same University. This year, she got to return the opportunity when she organised a week-long summer school to CERN for high-school students from several UK schools.
